As we move into the Fall Season, we have 4 wonderful hikes planned.
(09/12/26) Raven Cliff Falls: This hike traverses gently sloping trails to one of the highest cascades in the Upstate. There is an observation deck to view the 400 ft waterfall.
- Moderate difficulty.
- Hike distance is 3.8 miles round-trip.
- Drive time is 1.5 hours round-trip.
- Meet at 7:30 am at Lowe's Home Improvement, 1900 Poinsett Highway.
(10/3/26) Riley Moore Falls: Riley Moore Falls is classified as a Class VI whitewater rapid, so what it lacks in height, it makes up for in a 100-ft span. There is a large natural pond below the falls.
- Moderate difficulty.
- Hike distance is 2.4 miles round-trip.
- Drive time is 3 hours round-trip.
- Meet at 7:30 am at Home Depot, 1339 South Pleasantburg Drive.
(10/24/26) Peak to Prosperity Passage: From the Alston Trailhead, we’ll hike out along the trail that follows the route of an old railroad. This trail is known for its many bridges and views.
- Easy terrain (flat), moderate for distance.
- The hike is 8 miles, with the option to turn around at any point if we want to cut it shorter.
- Drive time is 2+ hours round-trip.
- Meet at 7:30 am at Brookwood Church.
(11/14/26) Blue Wall Preserve: This hike takes you through most of the Blue Wall Preserve. You’ll pass by twin ponds on your way to the waterfall with a 20 ft drop into a small pool.
- Easy 3.4-mile hike.
- Drive time is 2 hours round-trip.
- Meet at 7:30 am at Brookwood or at 8 am at Spinx (2497 SC-14 at I-85 Exit 56).
