Saturday, March 14. Meet at Brookwood at 7:30 am to carpool.
- Foster Mill Loop Trail at Croft State Park.
- Approximately 6 miles, mostly level.
- Easy to moderate difficulty.
- $3 park entry fee per person, $1.50 per senior (65+).
- Bring a lunch.
Remember, this is a MEN'S hike.
The Foster Mill Loop Trail travels along an old roadbed and features portions of a singlewide and a doublewide trail, making it the widest trail at Croft and ideal for beginner hikers. Along the trail, we'll stroll through historical areas and see old trestle bridges and cemetery sites.
This trail will take you along ridges, cross over beautiful Kelsey Creek and along the shore of Lake Craig.
